The Wagon Train.. Our First RUN

A Few Years ago The Penns Wood chapter did a covered bridge Tour, it was cool.. but we were looking for something more.. (and we'ed already driven across all the bridges in the area!)

this was something more, and for me, nothing could have been better.

driving my antique cars, has always been my goal. I have enjoyed a show or two, but I am tired of sitting in lawnchairs (i have a lazyboy at home) and dont care much for the "DJ sounds" played at most venues.

So I organized a small group of fellow club members and friends, to embark on the first annual "Wagon Train"

As such.. I hope that this is, infact, the first of many such experiences.

WOODIE WAGONS AT TUCKERTON..

Wednesday (august 15, 2007) fellow Penns Wood member George Beebe and I made the trek to Tuckerton, to do a little pre-show scouting..

Tuckerton promises to be an excellent venue for our Next event..

the seaport is situated within walking distance of several eateries, (including a vintage Stewarts root beer! in operation since 1969) as well as ample shopping available nearby for those inclined.

Here are a few things you'll see at the Tuckerton seaport society.

An ongoing elco cruiser restoration
